  • A spot during the retreat weekend

  • Journal, pen and highlighter

  • Meals. snacks, and beverages throughout the retreat

  • Access to prayer ministers to assist during each practicum

ARE MEALS & HOUSING INCLUDED ON RETREATS?

For retreats, catered meals and snacks are included with your registration fee, but not housing. Meals covered include dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Children in our childcare room will join their parents in the cafeteria for all meal times.

IS CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?

Yes. Childcare is available for all toddlers to age 12. In order to ensure that we have enough staff in the nursery, all children MUST register 7 days prior to your scheduled retreat date. To register your child(ren), fill out the form [HERE]. Cost is dependent upon how many children register for the event, but will not exceed $80 per family.

WHAT IF I OR MY CHILD HAS FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES?

Meals and snacks will be served on-site for all participants; however, we can not guarantee that our pre-planned meals will fit you and your child’s individual food requirements. If you indicate on your registration that you have a food allergy or sensitivity, we will respond to you with menu options from our caterer to select custom meals. The most common allergies we accommodate include gluten, egg, and dairy allergies. In the event that we are not able to meet your specific dietary needs, a microwave, freezer, and fridge will be made available to you to store and cook your own meals during the retreat.

WHERE WILL MY CHILDREN BE DURING THE RETREAT?

The entire retreat will be taking place in the Parish Hall of Mary Immaculate Catholic School. Childcare will take place in the neighboring kindergarten classroom and school playground. Parents are welcome to walk down the hallway throughout the day to check in on their children.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR DROPPING CHILDREN OFF AND PICKING THEM UP?

Children can be taken to their designated classroom as early as 20 minutes prior to the start of the retreat each day. At the end of each retreat session, children will be walked to the Adult area by their instructors for pick-up. For safety reasons, if a parent or guardian must pick up their child before the close of a session, the adult must present a photo ID that matches the Adult’s name on the registration form.

CAN MY TEENAGER JOIN ME ON THE ADULT TRACK?

Any teen 14+ may join their parent on the retreat; however, these teens must be supervised by their parent for the duration of the retreat.

ARE INFANTS AND NURSING MOTHERS WELCOME?

Absolutely! Your newest bundles of joy are welcome to attend with you.

WHAT ABOUT SAFE ENVIRONMENT?

All adult volunteers taking care of our children have been through safe environment training and have received a background check.
