A Local ministry committed to serving the global church.

Victoria Harris, author Holy Spirit 101

The Arise Worship Ministry began at New York's Dunwoody Seminary, where founder, Victoria Harris, asked a group of scholars, clergy and Church leaders, "What if we could prototype a course, where one could teach Catholics, in a classroom setting, how to use, operate and mature in the gifts of the Holy Spirit?"

Father Michael Forge, of the Diocese of Dallas, generously invited Harris to Mary Immaculate Church in Farmers Branch, Texas, and permitted Harris to research and prototype the curriculum, while under the supervision of the Diocese. Harris began assimilating the collective teachings of the Church on the charismatic dimension of the faith and "practicums" (exercises) were developed as practical tools which would allow an individual to practice specific gifts. In August of that year, Harris was permitted to test the efficacy of the program on a group of 40 students from various backgrounds and experiences with the Holy Spirit - and the results were astonishing. By the end of the 5-week program, nearly every student was operating, to some degree, in the supernatural gifts. These same dramatic results have continued in each class that has followed the guidelines set forth in the program.

On February 16, 2016 the text received from the Catholic Church the highest approval and endorsement available to a curriculum: The nihil obstat (meaning the work is "without error") and the imprimatur (an endorsement from the bishop declaring "Let it be printed").

From working with parishioners around the country, we developed the Holy Spirit 101 retreat the Prayer Ministry Handbook, and our eCourse. Parishes around the world regularly employ these tools during monthly healing services, weekly prayer ministry, training and continuing education classes.

In 2023, with the birth of her fourth child, Victoria retired from parish work to better pursue her vocation as a mother with a growing family. Today, Victoria homeschools her four children full-time while directing the ministry out Plano, TX under the supervision of Rev. Michael Forge.

Today the Arise ministry continues its mission to help Catholics understand and utilize the unique power of Christian Baptism and its vital role in the New Evangelization. Through community events, training programs, and resource services, we believe that education & opportunity are the ingredients needed to help transform the Church.
